CEMENT REMOVER is a concentrated liquid cleaner for end-of-installation cleaning to remove cement residues and inorganic dirt.

CEMENT REMOVER is a concentrated acid-based cleaner specifically developed to wash and clean after installation of flooring or coverings with cement-based grout.

The action of CEMENT REMOVER eliminates all residues of glue, grout, and varnish, without changing the color of joints and restoring the original appearance to treated surfaces.

It is also extremely effective when it comes to removing inorganic dirt and saline efflorescence.

End-of-installation cleaning with CEMENT REMOVER serves to prevent problems that can occur after installation and resulting from a lack of correct cleaning, such as surface patina and more easily soiled surfaces.

CEMENT REMOVER is a product that can be applied to all acid-resistant materials which need washing at the end of the installation process or following grouting operations, carried out with adhesives, mortar, or cement-based grout.

CEMENT REMOVER – Concentrated acid-based cleaner for end-of-installation cleaning and to remove cement residues and inorganic dirt.

APPLICATION STEPS

Preparing and cleaning the surface Cleaning after the installation process must be completed at least two days after grouting the surfaces.

1. Before proceeding to wash the surface, it is advisable to clean away any surface residues such as dust, debris, and coarse dirt, using a broom or a vacuum cleaner.
2. Wait for the surface to be treated to be completely dry.
3. Any adjacent surfaces not being treated with the product must be protected.
4. Apply the product to surfaces with a temperature of between +5 and +40°C Application. Before applying the product to the entire surface, always test a small, unexposed area or unused piece to check its suitability for use.
5. Dilute the product in clean water. Pour 1 part product into 2 parts water in a bucket.
6. Begin to work the product over the surface, rubbing the surface with the tool of choice.
7. Leave the product to act for 5 – 10 minutes, continuing to wipe over the surface with your tool of choice to boost and aid the cleansing action of the product.
8. After working on the product, remove all residues and rinse the entire floor with plenty of water.
9. If the result is only partially achieved, repeat the application process following the same steps:

waiting time is necessary.

COMPLEMENTARY CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE PRODUCTS
After treating with CEMENT REMOVER, keep the surface clean with the most suitable Faber
product, such as NEUTRAL CLEANER or FLOOR CLEANER, to be selected according to the
characteristics of the surface.
INSTRUCTIONS AND GUIDELINES
– Wait at least 2 days after grouting before proceeding with the
end-of-installation washing.
– Never apply the product to a wet surface
– Do not apply the product to overly heated surfaces
– When applying to recently laid or grouted surfaces, wait for the adhesive or grout to
cure completely.
– Never use it in conjunction with other chemical products.
– Before applying the product to the whole surface, it is advisable to test a small,
unexposed area or unused piece to check its suitability for use.
